Im planning my first bicycle tour. Can anyone help me choose a bike?

Ive never done anything beside BMX'ing. I want to start doing tours and long distance trips. Ive pretty much got the itinerary planned out for a trip across the UK. I just need help choosing a bike that is road worthy and comfortable for a decent price. What do you guys use? And id like to keep it around or under 500 please. And from what ive heard a steel frame is better, is that true?

Does anyone know if Horizon Air and Iceland Air have a baggage agreement neither airline can/ will tell me?

I booked my flight with Iceland Air but when I received my itinerary it said that my first flight would actually be with Horizon Air. When I contacted them they said I would have to wait until I got to the airport on the day of my flight to find out if or what the charge would be and that I might even have to claim my luggage in Seattle before boarding my connecting flight and it's possible that I will be charged baggage fees by both airlines. 4-day trip to Los Angeles; itinerary help?

Santa Barbara is not that close to LA. It will take you hours to drive up there and then hours back. You may just want to stick to the LA area. Santa Monica is great (and not near Santa Barbara). There are so many places to eat I don't know what to recommend. celebs are so random to see. It is vacation time though so many are out of town. Maybe Nobu in Malibu would be a good place to eat. If you like film-making and want a studio tour the best one is Warner Brothers in Burbank. You can try to see a show like Leno, Conan, Lopez, Jimmy Kimmel, Bill Maher. They all film locally but I don't know if any will be on break or not. Unless you are rich enough to afford stuff there I find Rodeo Drive a waste of time. Unless you are just driving through to see it. You are more likely to see celebs at the stores and restaurants on Robertson.

okay i have this strong smell coming from my armpits. its gross and smells really bad. i cant seem to get rid of it. i used the Aloe Mineral Deodorant stick Deonat, Suave&Secret deodorant, and when i take a shower i use a loofah & the dove pomergranate body wash. none of it is working and i even tried using regular soap and water. i dont play any sports or do any activities , i just stay inside the house ! Melbourne in 2 Days with a Car Hire?

My family of 3, including myself, are looking at a car hire in Melbourne for a day or two, but we're unsure of what to do. Here is our plan thus far: we are planning on staying in Melbourne for 3 nights, arriving very late the first day, so really we have 2 full days in the Melbourne area. But instead of staying in Melbourne, we would like to take a day to drive the Great Ocean Road from Melbourne to the 12 Apostles near Port Campbell, and back. Additionally (if time allows), we would like to see the Penguin Parade on Phillip Island too. We're thinking of staying in Melbourne for the first half a day or so on the first day, then renting a car to drive to Philip Island for the evening Penguin Parade, then coming back to Melbourne for the night, and then driving the Great Ocean Road the following day. Would this be a do-able itinerary? If we were to see the Penguin Parade, what time should we leave Melbourne to see the penguins if the sunset is at around 5:15 pm? Otherwise, we could pass on the penguins and just see the Great Ocean Road and the 12 Apostles, but we would like to see both if possible. What are some suggestions, thoughts, etc.?

Inflamed, itchy armpit rash?

it started with a dull razor but it wasn't bad, just a little redness it didn't irritate me. then i used my sister's deodorant and it itched sooo bad, i was digging at my armpits all day and they became red, swollen with bumps, and they were sensitive to anything touching them including sleeves. Now it's two days later, i washed my armpits really good and used a new razor to shave and used my own deodorant (which is for sensitive skin since this rash has occured before) but it's still there itching just as bad, burning, red with bumps. should i see a doctor/dermatologist or just give it time?

Urinary tract infection medications?

I'm 17 and have previously already had a UTI and have experienced a yeast infection much younger but now I'm not sure which it is. In April I went to a concert and didn't shower afterwards. Flights from New York to Australia?

I had an Olympus Fe 4010 that broke after less than 10 uses so now I'm looking for a camera with the front LCD screen. I've only been finding Samsung ones like TL210. I'm trying to find one that is $200 and under because I just bought that Olympus one two years ago. Also are any of them good in low light? I was in a 6 year relationship with a sociopath who was physically and mentally abusive to me. I ended the relationship back in November of 2010 and it was very difficult to feel I could date again. So i've been seeing this doctor who brought me flowers, paid for everything, invited me to concerts, sporting events, vacations and everywhere i dreamed of going. Then on our last date he told me he was in love with his ex and only wants to be friends with me. His ex im convinced only wants him back because she seen he was with me. I'm completely devistated yet again and I don't know what I can do. It seems I've met people of all different types, ones who look like freaks and make no money, to ones who have tons of money and respectable jobs. I've dated near 40 men in the last 18 years and I always seem to end up the girl on the backburner. Everyone wants me until their ex's come back into their lives. It's really depressing me. I'm 13, I live with my real mom and step dad. First, My half brother is spoiled, a slob, and cries too much. He will ask for something and if my parents say no, he will cry and cry and cry. They spank, but he will still cry. If he gets yelled at he will, try and find some way to get me or my 2 other half siblings in trouble. I'm going to Japan this fall and trying to plan out my itinerary. My husband will be in Okinawa for work and we are debating if I should fly there direct from NYC or have him meet me in Tokyo. well if you want your hair wavy you can braid it in little braids after you shower, and sleep on it. Or you can put it in a braided bun after you shower and sleep on it. If you want your hair to be more surfer girl, then dye it like dirty blonde and the ends plat blonde, so it looks like you spend more time in the sun. Or you can just buy a waver/ crimper at target or something, and crimp your hair everyday, really quickly. My hair is naturally wavy, and it got really curly when i thinned it out last year. So if you want it wavier, i recommend thinning it out because that's less preasure on your hair and it waves more.

I have to perform "when you believe" (mariah carey) for a school concert. I was chosen by my music teacher. I'm only Secondary One (13 years old). I need to sing stronger. i feel like there is something blocking my voice, preventing it from singing as strong as i want. Also, somehow, my voice sounds..... dead and monotonous, even though the tune and pitch is correct and i am usually not out of tune. Is it because i need to add vibrato? Im sorry this is really long, but please bare with me, and try to help.. Help. I booked my flight through a travel agency for my AIR ASIA flight...?

Why do I get sweaty so quickly?

I am 14 years old and I sweat way too easily. I am not overweight. I am 5'3 and 112 pounds and I always sweat. During the previous winter of 2010-2011, I had to wear short sleeved t-shirts everyday to school. Whenever I would wear long sleeved shirts, I would get sweaty in a matter of hours (and sometimes less than an hour), even on days that I did not have gym class. Even when I wore a hoodie, I could never wear a shirt underneath it because it would make me sweaty. In fact, I would keep dry wash cloths in my back pack so that after gym class I could dry my soaked arm pits. My mom would yell at me that all the long sleeved shirts she bought me were wasted because I would never wear them and she won't accept the fact that I sweat uncontrollably. A few hours ago, I took a shower. Then I went downstairs into the basement and played the drums for ten minutes. After playing the drums, I am sweating enough that I can smell myself and it is awful. Is something wrong with me? I actually sweated from WALKING around the track at my high school in about 60 degrees fahrenheit. Is something wrong with me? Just note that I am white; my friends who are hispanic tend to sweat very quickly as well. Why does this happen to me? None of my other friends sweat like I do? Will this ever stop? Yes, I do wear deodorant/antiperspirant. Should I see a doctor about this, or is it just another phase of puberty?

Hey there! There are a few options that can help. You can try clinical strength deodorant, the best results work when you apply it after a shower right before bed so it has time to sink in. Sweat stains can actually be caused by the deodorant itself if you slather on too much. For a quick fix baby powder can help, rub it into areas you normally wouldnt use deodorant like the thighs, back of neck, lower back, ect... For underarms, they make underarm garmet protectors, a company called Hollywood Secrets makes a popular one. I know in NY they sell them in Duane Reade, but you can get them online. I post a link below. If you can't get them, you can try thin panty liners, but be careful! They tend to fall out if they aren't really adhesive. You can carry cotton balls soaked in toner (not vinegar!) and apply and let dry on the go. For the long term, as odd as this sounds, Botox injections under the arms prevents sweating. It usually costs about $400 and last almost a year, you can call your local dermatologist to find her rate. They do this with those suffering from hyperhydrosis. Wear loose clothing that don't grab directly under the arms, tanks are the best! Wear black if all else fails! And remember, this is a super common problem so don't stress it too much! 3 Year old child pees everywhere!?

I have a friend who has a three year old daughter that will drop her drawers and pee anywhere! We were out camping and the child peed by our picnic table, our tent and by our barbeque while visiting us for the afternoon. Two half days in Niagara Falls, any idea of an itinerary?

Well, your best bet for doing any sort of attractions for Niagara Falls is purchasing an adventure pass. These can be bought at any information centre or attraction along the niagara parkway, or river road, the same street the falls is located on. It makes a perfect view for pictures. The other attractions are Niagara's fury, the newest attractions which is a 4d simulator showing how the falls was created by taking you through the elements of it. There is rain, high winds and snow. Finally, the last attractions included in the pass is the White water walk. This gives you a breath-taking view of the whirlpool rapids. These are class 6 rapids which are actually considered illegal. The boardwalk takes you right beside and is also a beautiful nature walk. At this attraction you also see some of the daredevils that attempted the falls. As for accommodations, there are plenty along the parkway making the attractions more access able. These hotels may also give you valueble coupons for Clifton Hill which is also a sight to see filled with games and museums.

I would skip Shenzhen, Xiamen, Nanjing, Kaifeng and Zhenzhou. Can you leave some of your stuffs with your friends, it's a big burden to carry so many lugguages in your transits.

I have very sensitive skin and I have psoriasis and eczema. I like to try and use all natural products. I used to use dove sensitive skin deodorant, but I want to try and use something that is healthier. I have tried Tom of Maine, Jason, the deodorants from Lush and everything in the local health food store. I always get a rash under my arms. I just tried a dusting powder from Lush that is cornstarch, cocoa butter and jasmine, and I still got the rash. I'm not sure what to do at this point. Help?

AA.com Seating Assignment Problem?

I have had my confirmed seats for my flight around two months now, but ever since our flight was booked out it has said " We apologize we are unable to pre-assign seats for your reservation. Please check back on AA.com or obtain your seat assignment(s) at the airport on day of departure." On the flight map it shows only one available seat on our flight. You need to be careful because it sounds like you are thinking in a very obsessive way. It doesn't sound dangerous right now but I could see things getting worse in the future. It isn't weird to look for attention from peers and friends so don't think that you are the only person that feels that way. Could be a girl, could be drugs or alcohol, heck it could be shopping. I am not saying that it would be easy to prevent these feelings, but if you are aware of your tendencies, you can think logically rather than letting your emotions take over. Good body sprays or scents for under $20?

I'm 14 and going through puberty, I feel that i am starting to smell really bad, especially if i am doing things in the outdoors. The current body spray/deodorant i am using is axe excite. It smells great but i don't think it lasts long enough for me. Any cheap bodysprays i could find at my local drug store or walmart? thanks.

So, I met this guy in a psych class last semester, and he asked for my cell # so we could study together. I started hanging out with him more, and he's been doing some weird stuff. Called me weak and said he was stronger than me; said I'm easy to abduct and he'd care too much if something happened to me when I walked home alone. When I got an 87 on my psych test, he smiled and said he likes seeing my face light up with joy. When we were studying for the next psych test, I asked him what he wanted to review. He said sex (this is actually in our book under societal interactions and brain chemistry). Said he thought of me once and felt he should give me a hug. I said no and that he wasn't my boyfriend, and he said he knew he wasn't my boyfriend. What's with this guy? How can I lose him? If you're a guy answering, why is he acting like this if we both graduate next year (and part ways)? I am a nice person, but I am not dressing provocatively at all (dressing like a boy with loose plaid shirts and cargo pants). Should I stop wearing deodorant? What's wrong with this dude?

When will I know which gate to go to?

I'm flying through Delta Airlines and there is exactly three weeks until I go on vacation. I went a few years ago through Southwest and it told me right away which terminal and gate i needed to be at so that I could print out my maps so I didn't get lost (I was only thirteen at the time and am now 17). Help. I booked my flight through a travel agency for my AIR ASIA flight...?

.... and they sent me the BOOKING CONFIRMATION on the same day, but it does not contain my passport number. It only contains my flight details, flight number, departure and arrival dates and timing and the confirmation number. But doesn't a travel itinerary has to have a PASSPORT number, so they know the identity of the person who's traveling when checking in? When I asked the agent, he says its fine, but I'm scared that they might stop me at the airport! Do they really not have the passport number on airasia travel itineraries?? Bought a plane ticket, but bank statement shows no change, help?!?

Ok so just yesterday i received a check of $300 so i could buy my plane ticket to chicago to see my girlfriend graduate from navy bootcamp in 2 weeks. It came out to $250 from Expedia, afterwards i checked my account balance and it showed the $250 taken out and that i had $50 left. Today when i deposited some money, my balanced showed at $330! I was confused and checked my last transactions, the Expedia plane ticket for $250 was gone like if it never existed. I decided to check my itinerary on Expedia, and everything seemed fine, checked the receipt and i had no emails from them about a problem about the purchase. What happened? Should i call Expedia and ask them what went wrong? Or is this just a luck of fate, with a glitch in a system somewhere (which i highly doubt)? Why is my mom so angry and unhappy every time she comes home?

Every time my mom comes home (whether that be from vacation, work, or just after a lot of errands) she is so angry and starts handing out chores to my brothers and I that she never even told us to do in the first place. Also, she got back from a vacation and before she even talked about her trip she just goes off about what things are not the way she wanted them. She will also ask us of things she has never asked before such as planning an itinerary for our trip when she and my dad are the ones that have done that for every trip I have ever been on in my life. But the ways she says it makes it sound like I'm the one who is wrong for not doing something no one has ever asked me to do.I'm 17 now but she has been doing this for four years now and now that I am graduating high school (with good grades, going to a good college, no problems with the law, pretty much.... I'm a good kid and so are my brothers but she is never happy with us). She is completely blind to the fact that she does this 99% of time she comes back and regardless, she just blames all her problems on my brothers and I. I don't know if this is just how she is as a person or if something else is bothering her but it really annoys me. Anyone else have a similar situation they had to deal with and how did you deal with it? (I've tried just doing all the chores and retarded crap she asks me but she just explodes over the smallest things that my brothers I do wrong. I have also tried asking her about work and seeing if that was related but its not the reason every time)

Here's your problem... The Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island and the WTC are downtown, the Empire State Building and Rockefeller Center are in Midtown and the Museum of Natural History is Uptown. If you have only one single day, the only logical advice would be to either stay in one area of Manhattan (Uptown, Downtown or Midtown) or two (Midtown + either Downtown or Uptown). You can't do all 4 in a single day without it being totally half-assed. For example: Visit the Statue of Liberty and WTC (both downtown) + the Empire State Building and/or Rockefeller Center (both midtown). OR visit the Museum of Natural History (uptown) + the Empire State Building and/or Rockefeller center (both midtown). Mixing Downtown and Uptown will kill your day.

So,I went to this concert a few weeks ago,and after the show I went to meet the lead singer of one of the bands,and he was real nice..and after I said how much I liked the show,he put his hand on my stomach...like 3 times,and kept smiling at me,and then he hugged me,and grabbed me around the waist tightly. No email confirming itinerary from ryanair plus incorrect details. what should we do?

So my cousin from Lithuania recently bought a ticket to UK from Ryanair. The booking page in the end said that the payment is pending but nothing was outstanding. So we considered that she booked it.Now when she wants to do online check in or manage her booking she cant. She didnt receive any email which means she doesnt have booking number, so she cant use option one. and option two says that her details doesnt match the record. what should we do? do we assume that she didnt make a booking?

USE DEGREE! i used to sweat like a pig even in winter and i bought the degree shower fresh scent deoderant (it smells so good like strawberries) now i don't sweat a droplet or smell. also try shaving your armpits everyday it helps alot. if it doesn't work then use the deoderant still but buy a can of secret antipersperant andspray that sutff all over you so you don't sweat lol.
