Why does Marty smell?

He showers everyday but he always smells really bad. What could cause this? He uses heaps deodorant but it doesn't seem strong enough to mask the smell. Plus he farts heaps and he always smells like fart and body odor and bad breath mixed together, covered in a fine layer of deodorant.
