How can I convince a friend to change her personality, be courageous and work on her style? Please help please?

OK so I have this friend and she is my totally bff. My mom went to their house and was pretty disgusted because their house is not that clean. Now mom is telling me not to talk to her anymore. How can I save her reputation? Actually they are immigrants in America and they are not that rich that is why their house is not so clean or good enough. I want to convince her to wear a deodorant because she needs to and to wear perfume. I want to convince her to study hard but she refuses to because she doesn't speak English. I speak her native language. How can I convince her that studying hard will help her become rich and support her family? She says she wants to be poor not rich. She is really stubborn. I want to help her but I don't have that much money either. Please now help. But I am a good student. Please how can I help her learn English, study hard, be courageous and wear a deodorant and move to a good home.
