Need some gay teen dating advice?:-)?

Well, I really like this guy (I'm 13, he's 13) and I think he likes me back, but I'm not sure. Too start we don't know eachothers sexuality, although I did come out to him a year ago, but I kind of freaked out after saying it and told him that it was a lie, since then he has been very interested in my love life asking who I'm going out with and he has asked me if I'm gay again about twice. He has showed other signs such as trying to talk to me, looking at me but then turning away, smiling at me & trying to get close to me. I also asked him if I could use his deodorant once (smooth) he said yep and give me it, I took of my shirt and put it on (PE changing rooms). I noticed that he was standing and looking at me ( while he was at his place to get changed) and when I looked at him he gave me that sort of 'smile', he also choose my name for this character list we were doing in English'. The reasons why I dont think he likes me is because, he is sooo popular and more confident with people than me (I'm only popular-ish and not as confident), he's small and I am tall and we're different sort of people and apparently according to my best friend he was talking about a girl he liked in english. Your opinions and advice plllleaasseee?
