What if you missed your flight?

My sister and her daughter missed their flight going back to Philippines.She was confused with the timing of their flight the itinerary was 25 May 0050,so she went to airport on the 25th instead of 24th.Would they consider giving them next flight and not to charge them again.Also her visa expires on the 25th of May.
