Bought a plane ticket, but bank statement shows no change, help?!?

Ok so just yesterday i received a check of $300 so i could buy my plane ticket to chicago to see my girlfriend graduate from navy bootcamp in 2 weeks. It came out to $250 from Expedia, afterwards i checked my account balance and it showed the $250 taken out and that i had $50 left. Today when i deposited some money, my balanced showed at $330! I was confused and checked my last transactions, the Expedia plane ticket for $250 was gone like if it never existed. I decided to check my itinerary on Expedia, and everything seemed fine, checked the receipt and i had no emails from them about a problem about the purchase. What happened? Should i call Expedia and ask them what went wrong? Or is this just a luck of fate, with a glitch in a system somewhere (which i highly doubt)? Don't know whats going on, will my ticket still be valid? will they take the money out again? Please help!!!
