Is a day trip from paris to giverny worth it?

I'm putting together an itinerary and wanted to toss in a second day trip (first is versailles) and Im wondering if anyone has reviews of Giverny. Is it worth spending two hours traveling there and back to Paris? Can we make a day of it without getting bored? What else is there to see besides Monets gardens and home?
